We were slightly disappointed by the wall
First it is interrupted at the East Gate so you can't walk the whole way ( total circuit takes 2 hours) and there is so much to see in the streets which are so typical and atmospheric

I am not sure about directions. When you walk through the main road and market of the town , walk under the big Gushi tower , then after 10 minutes you reach the city wall . You can enter it , climb up , and see the view as well as walk on the wall , some old canons, etc . It closes quite early afternoon , check for closing times .
