This place is absolutely worth a day trip! Don't be deterred by the city on the way in, these carvings are exquisite!

We have came here from Chonqging. First bus for 45CNY to Dazu and then bus 205 to Rock Carvings. Entrance fee is pretty high 135 CNY/pp. This place sometimes might be crowded with chinese groups. But rock carvings are amazing. Dont miss to visit museum...More

I only had time to visit the Dazu Rock Carvings because there was an accident in the road and we lost 2 hours. But I remember there were several around not far from each other. You can move in public buses around them.
