It’s a small statue that speaks and moves a bit accompanied by some music. I caught this twice by chance . Nothing special but seeing that there isn’t much to do in the evenings , this provides some entertainment .

Hell Judge i guess. 5mins “performance” of only 2-3 mins where you see movements of hands and changing of face. Otherwise, nothing interesting.

Nothing much special. Just a statue which pray by the local Japanese where located at road side . Not suggest purposely to visit it.

The temple gives a show maybe 5 to 6 times in a day. It is interesting to see a face-off show. However it's not that special. I don't suggest tourists to visit it on purpose.

i think this "statue" was located somewhere along the street - at one point in time, the "face" changes together with some recordings that were playing.

Unless paying attention to find this small temple, you would pass by without notice. Not particular temple (shrine).

It's a place you won't miss, but not that interesting in my opinion especially if you're from Asian countries.

Do stay for animated performance of King Yama at certain times of the day. It is easy to locate and the animation is very interesting.

The god statue is located at the center of Noboribetsu, minutes away from the bus station. Several times a day the statue will move in a rather unnatural way. See as you go, you can miss it if you walk to Jigokudani
