It's my first ski experience in Japan. Kiroro resort is perfect for the family with small children. Lot't of activities for children. The area is not as big as other USA famous ski resort, but I love the quality of snow and less crowd on...More

Kiroro is a fun ski resort for the family. It's not huge like Squaw Valley or fancy like Vail, it's somewhere in the middle of it all with a great lift network, not too many crowds, and more than enough snow. In April the conditions...More

For westerners, Kiroro is off the radar. Sad, it has fantastic powder snow well into April. The variety of runs is family oriented (with only a few Black runs). The grooming is good, the trail width VERY wide, and the lift staff overly polite. So...More

We had the luck to have a free guide offered by the resort to show us the best off piste and backcountry. Not sure if it will be free again next year, but definitely awesome. The whole resort is great! I would recommend!

Lovely facilities, amazing snow. Wish we had stayed at this Sheriton rather than nearby. Our guided trip had us stay in Sapporo rather than at this resort. I will say at the Sheriton when I make my own plans in the future. What I saw...More

Booked this for my 2 kids. The only down side is that they do not help you form a group. You pay the same price if its just 1 or 6. Once you booked, there is no instructions what to expect. You have to keep...More

Think Rusutsu has more resort facilities, but kiroro has good powder. For kiroro sheraton is ski in ski out but for a 3 year old probably the Tribute kiroro has more facilities.

You can access to Yoichi peak which is the lower part of Asari Peak run. Bu I would change the dates and go when all lifts are operational.
