Lots of nice restaurants and stores surrounding. The beach is fun to play some frisbee, get some sun, and swim on the warm days. Nice family spot, easy to get to, close to everything.. plus a killer view of one of the most beautiful lakes.

This place is gorgeous: pine trees, mountains, soft sand and sparkling clean water. Parking can be difficult in July. It's fun to swim, rent kayaks or grab food or ice cream nearby, or bring food. There are picnic tables, bbqs, restrooms and a playground. Friday...More

Bike trails are everywhere. Lots of ski slopes turn into mountain bike trails in the summer with the ski lifts active. Northstar resort does this.
