Lovely town, parking is challenging during July even in middle of the week. Public Beach was full. We just stopped by for the day. Next time I would stay at a resort and use their beach. Loved Jason’s beachside grille! Bring some shade!

Beautiful beach acess though not very clean sand. Walking trail along the beach leads to nice photo opportunities. Blue and Green water shades and mountain on the backdrop. Lake Tahoe visit can provide opportunity of both beach and snow at the same time if planned...More

Staying in Zephyr Cove, we rode up Heavenly, hiked Cave Rock, then drove around the lake counterclockwise. We were lucky to find a space to park for free on a side street near the crosswalk over to the beach. The shade from the large trees...More

Previous reviews stated parking was free. When I was here it was $10, but it was still early in the day (and a weekday) so street parking was readily available and it’s not too far of a walk from the street to the beach. Beach...More

There are limited available parking spaces in the parking lot. Even for a Wednesday, we had a hard time getting a spot. Look along the side streets for more options. Clean bathrooms. Picnic tables. Some shade. Water is cold, but there were plenty of kids...More

This beach is great access if you are within walking distance but if you’re going to drive from somewhere I would recommend going to Sand Harbor instead. The staff here was very friendly it was just that the facilities weren’t well maintained, there was homeless...More

The beach is so popular that parking is challenging and the beach feels crowded. The park has been recently renovated and the grounds are nicely kept. Nice shallow entry into the lake. Rental boats are available.

Our family visits here every year....we love it. The views of the Lake are majestic and full of grandeur....can’t be beat. Playing on the water is super fun, plus there are jet skis, paddle boards, kayaks, parasailing activities available right there. The beach often gets...More

Apart from a lovely lake view, we did not find much else to see. This maybe because it was midwinter, but the day was warm, and there was not much open.

Bike trails are everywhere. Lots of ski slopes turn into mountain bike trails in the summer with the ski lifts active. Northstar resort does this.
