The La Jolla Freefall bike tour starts at the top of Mt. Soledad and takes you all the way down to the beaches over two and a half hours. Mike, our guide was fantastic. He took us through safety rules and made sure our group...More

I would just abort trying to see leopard sharks altogether on La Jolla beach. We went in mid July at 1 in the afternoon when it was warm. Two of us saw one Leopard Shark for about 4 seconds in very blurry water. If this...More

We wanted to see the caverns so we chose this tour. We had a couple of great guides. As we paddled out, they took turns stopping to tell us about the area. They said the water was calm, but it was still not necessarily an...More

On our visit to La Jolla, we reserved a slot to go on the kayak and snorkeling tour. The tour, while a bit strenuos, was incredible. We saw various kinds of fish, lobsters, and even some sea lions! Our guides, Jordan and Trevor, were extremly...More

My family did this tour with two tandem kayaks. I thought overall The whole excursion was very average. I wouldn't recommend it. The guides we had were below average (two girls) and didn't explain what was happening very well. They paddled so fast out to...More

You have to check in, in town. It's a little unorganized when doing so. The first guy we gave the receipt to lost our receipt. It was on the floor. He was also helping us with our locker then walked away and forgot about us....More

Our family of five (12F, 9M, and 6F) had a great time kayaking the La Jolla area. Will, the guide, was knowledgable and offered advice sprinkled with area knowledge. There was so much laughing and smiling during the tour, and Will helped put our kids...More

We had signed up to go kayaking, but when we got there we saw the bike trips. They rearranged the schedule so we could do both. The 14 mile bike trip was amazing. Loved going down hill most of the way. Got to see awesome...More

Exactly as the other reviewer stated. Not in the same kayak but he/she will guide you. No need to worry - they will not leave you and it's a very "beginners" pace. Biggest concern will be trying not to hit the cold water. ;)
