I booked the bike and kayak combo, and had a great time, active but not exhausting, and safe through both activities. Since it was off season, the guide to client ratio was perfect - only myself on the bike and five people (two couples and myself) on the kayak. You do not need to be highly skilled for either -... Decided to try this out because it was included with our Gosandiego card, and it didn't disappoint. These guys made it easy for us to check in, get our gear and be out at sea in no time. Overall we were out there for a little over an hour and we just had a blast. The only thing that I... More

Rented 2 bikes, very poor condition. Brakes on my bike were very poor. The bike squealed so loud that people nearby were annoyed. I found myself apologizing as I rode by. The paper work was filled out by a nice young man, who was delightful, unfortunately there was a young dark hair surly girl that worked there, who barely acknowledged... More

This company was outstanding, since we were not in shape and a bit nervous about our adventure. The staff here were outstanding and helped us out and reassured us we could do it and we did. We really appreciated Zack, Jacob, Amanda and Jasmine. They went above and beyond to make this a great experience!

My husband and I visited San Diego for our anniversary and went to kayak La Jolla on the recommendation of a local friend. While I was concerned that the water was going to be too cold for my liking, I opted not to get a wet suit and was pleasantly surprised that I didn't freeze. We thoroughly enjoyed the kayaking... We just did the snorkeling with leopard sharks, we saw quite a few. The experience was cool, staff was friendly and helpful. The only complaint I would have is they ran out of wetsuits for kids so the one they gave my daughter to wear was way too big and she got really cold because it didn't do what wetsuits... More

We visited San Diego on Fall Break with our kids and wanted to do something active and on the water. We decided kayaking fit the bill! After looking at other reviews, we decided on Bike and Kayak of La Jolla. They offer a Tour of the Seven Caves which sounded great to us and it did not disappoint. The staff... More

We took two separate tours - kayak tour of the 7 caves and bike tour from top of Mt. Soledad (views of San Diego are incredible). We enjoyed both tours immensely, but the bike ride was a little scary as we were riding down from the top of the mountain on a 4 lane road with cars speeding by. Our... More

Great tour! Only visited 1 sea cave but the guides are amazing, funny, and very helpful. We had Alex and Amir and they were amazing! Cracking jokes and keeping everyone smiling and having fun the while time. Stopped at different points along the way and explained different interesting facts about La Jolla and it's fauna. We did a tandem kayak... More

The description makes it sound like you go to 7 different caves. Waves were a little rough but you only go in 1 cave for maybe 30 seconds. Bummed since we thought you would go into more of them.
