This is a small but very well set up aquarium above La Jolla Shores. It is very child friendly with a nice playground on the left side. I liked the exhibit which has a large variety of sealife and focus on local species. Highly recommended.

The Birch aquarium was a delightful place to visit. One section had details about the sea in comic book form to engage children. As an adult, I also enjoyed the format and was impressed by the displays.

Loved visiting this aquarium and the beautiful view off the back deck. You can find a discount coupon online to save about $3 on your admission. Great family activity.

Nice place to visit. Fish are really cool. Worth bringing the family over for about 1-2 hours worth of fun.
