Came here in mid August and so, as expected, the area was very busy. There are a few nice shops and restaurants that surround he cove and there are some great views both up and down the coastline towards San Diego. The sea lions and...More

This is a "Must See" for visitors and a "Why Have We Waited So Long to Come Back Here" for Locals! This is one of San Diego's premiere sightseeing and relaxation areas. It's peaceful, it's romantic, it's centering for the Higher Self!

We spent the afternoon at La Jolla. It was neat seeing the sea lions bathing on the rocks. Tourists were getting close enough for some great photo opportunities. There were lots of people snorkeling and kayaking. The beaches weren't as big as some others in...More

La Jolla cove has a few beaches as well as caves and cliffs. It is a beautiful place for pictures and for just checking out the sea lions and seals that rest along the beaches and swimming in the coves.

One of our favorite stops was to the La Jolla Cove to watch the sea lions. They are so cute and very tame. Many people were getting within 3-4 feet of them. I was not that brave. We did take some really fun videos. Be...More

We came up to the seals. The area looks very nice, lot of resturants and shops. Walk to the beach and to the edge and you alk the seals. They are so close you can touch them. The view is amazing

So much fun to kayak to the caves. There's really only one cave. And it's not that deep, but it was filled with seals and the baby pups - perfect time of year to go.

Beautiful place with great views of the ocean and the cliffs. During sunset, the cliff faces turn golden, giving the place a special look. Enjoy the sea lions but don't disturb them.

We kayaked the sea caves at La Jolla beach & loved it. Also, got up close with the sea lions on the cliffs. It was a very relaxed, beautiful beach. Torey Pines is more for the enthusiast for excerise in my opinion but nice... More
