Beautiful breach, clear and clean water, not too crowded as some of the other beaches in the area. Kayaking and snorkeling available. Parking looks like it could be a challenge, so consider an Uber if not staying right in the area. Several decent dining options...More

I absolute love it here. La Jolla is so beautiful and the ocean is gorgeous. Fun to watch divers walk into the water, but a little scary too!

Nice beach. Clear water. Not a lot if seaweed. We enjoyed the Beach and water. Parking is really tough though as the lot fills up.

Our family decided to visit the beaches here at La Jolla and found this one mile long beach located in Las Jolla. There are many lifeguards on scene and waves are gentle.

Although I am spoilt as I used to live at La Jolla Shores, I still choose to visit at least once a month. Usually, to stroll along the beach or promenade and go to any of the excellent restaurants along Avenida de La Playa.

There's a parking lot that fills fast during the day and for sunset (and probably during the grunion runs). There is free street parking however, just plan to walk a few blocks. Don't forget to drop a pin so you don't... More
