My sister and I went Paragliding out of Torrey Pines Gliderport. It was amazing. I was in tamdem with JC, my glider expert, and he was wonderful. He explained to me how the gliding worked, pointed out dolphins in the ocean, and safely glided me around the cliffs of Torrey Pines. I loved it.

Stopped on Saturday morning, but no paraglides were flying. But it’s a great place for scenic views of cliffs and ocean. There is on-site parking and a small quick service window for food. We spent an hour or so walking around and taking it all in.

Alex Allen, the Tandem Instructor was amazing. He did 3 different tricks while we were up in the air and i had so much fun. He's the best!!! George, the professional photographer was friendly and took a lot of good pictures too Highly recommended (if you're not afraid of heights!) Will definitely do this anytime. Lol Thanks again, Alex!! This experience is a must for those who are even mildly adventurous. We have tandem sailed here a few times and it never disappoints. Soaring over the cliffs, the mansions of the likes of Dr Suess and Alycia Keys, and over the mighty Pacific is other-worldly. So beautiful and peaceful. Take off and landing is seamless. Our pilots were friendly and super-competent. A big shoutout to my pilot, Charlie, who was the best! Don't miss this super-fun activity!

Awesome place to go hang out! We enjoyed the ability to grab a beer, sandwich and a pizza and watch people do paragliding! The sport itself was reasonably priced. It was a beautiful view and very casual. Fine place to bring the whole family!

Great place to watch paragliding. It's also walk up tandem ride day-of for $175. Fun and beautiful. The wait to ride is dependent on the wind so the wait can be 20 minutes to a few hours. It was a amazing view and I wished I'd gotten the video package.
