I have been a spectator and a participant at this exciting place. If you're into wind sports the glider port is for you. Just watching these folks and the colorful canopies gliding around is fun. Beautiful La Jolla not to be missed

There is a pretty steep trail to the beach where you will find nude bathing. But the views of the ocean from above are fabulous, plus you can watch the hang gliders just float on the ocean breeze and enjoy an incredible view with free parking.

Very exciting and beautiful, but if you get motion sick you may want to take scopolamine first. Also it can be a bit cold and windy especially in late fall/winter.

Whenever we have company visit we bring them to the glider port and it ends up being one of their favorite places. The view is beautiful and it is great fun watching the gliders. Last but not least the little restaurant offers great lunches at good prices. A great place to go!

Head over to the glider port and watch the parasail and radio controlled aircraft. Also take a look at the cafe there. Sandwiches are great

Bit of a trek on public transport but glad I've been. Wouldn't go again though. Good views. Can't think of anything else to say so why insist on 100 characters minimum

Great view of beach below cliffs and hang gliders above. Nice outside activity watching Californian recreational sport.

Watching is all I had thee courage to do but to see people voluntarilly fling themselves off a high cliff is a sight to behold. Some very talented people and a ride on one or lessons are available.

Spent an hour watching a hanglider by himself on this windy afternoon is something I will never forget.

I stop here every time I visit San Diego. Amazingly some locals know nothing about this place. A must do activity once in your life. I'd do it every trip but it is a bit expensive.
