I went to Oaker Wood Leisure for my friend's Stag do. The team were so helpful in planning the weekend with me with so many activities on offer all clearly priced out for me.
When we got there the facilities were exactly what we wanted, a whole village of pods to ourselves! The activities were great fun and run by the exception team who made us feel so welcome.
All in all a perfect weekend spent with friends - would recommend to anyone who wants to take a big group camping but can't be faffed with tents!

We have just come back from a weekend at Oaker Wood Leisure and there is nothing I can fault. The facilities and team are amazing.
The staff that took us around the activities were brilliant, really accommodating and joined in with the laughs….. nothing was too much trouble.
The sleeping pods are perfect and very clean.
Would highly recommend this place. Can’t wait to revisit x

Just got home from having the best time at Oakerwood, 22 ladies with ages ranging from 20 to 65 spent the weekend here. We did Laser Clays and codebreaker, we have never laughed so much absolutely brilliant. Dickie and all the staff were fabulous joined in the fun with us, helped with all our needs and were on hand at all times. Our first trip was cancelled in March due to snow and the communication to deal with this was fantastic. We had Fish and chips delivered from The Angel just down the road which everyone enjoyed. We would all just like to say thank you Dickie and all the staff for a brilliant weekend and we will all be back :) xx

Fantastic
We were a group of ladies celebrating a 40th birthday it was none stop fun and laughter from start to finish staff there were amazing pods are comfortable and clean the whole set up is amazing

14 of us stayed at Oaker Wood a few weeks ago.
Most of us had stayed with here 4 years ago & were very impressed with the upgrades to the main kitchen/mess hall facility & the fire pit area.
We had a great time Quad Trekking through the woods & had way more fun than expected when Rafting.
The communication with Oaker Wood via email & over the phone was straight forward.
Special thanks to the staff that took us on the activities, we all had a great time (even with a hangover or 2).

Booked a paintballing session for my son’s 14th with 10 of his friends and they had, absolutely, the best time. They were so well supervised by the staff (nod to George) who made sure they got the most out of the experience. The journey home was non-stop ‘who shot who’ shot-by-shot account of the 2 1/2 hrs running round the wood targeting each other! Can’t recommend this more highly. Thanks to all involved.

Lovely setting, very friendly & engaging staff, thanks Sam & Connor.
I did feel that it was expensive for what was offered. Though it was fun for the kids it could have been longer or more activities offered within the package.

Thank you for taking time to send your review. We are so glad that your children enjoyed their visit and that you enjoyed a lovely lunch at The Lion, it's great there!
We're sorry to hear that you didn't feel you had value for money during your visit. Our high ropes experiences are generally for groups of 4, but during the holidays we try our best to accommodate families with smaller groups. In this case with only two people taking part the session was naturally shorter than it would have been for 4 people., however the time spent on each activity per person was the same (possibly a little more) than it would be for a larger group. We really hope you enjoyed your holiday in Herefordshire. Sam and Connor enjoyed running the session for you and we hope to see you again one day.

I absolutely love it here, we first went in April for a stag do and enjoyed it so much we came back in August with a big group of friends.
I genuinely cannot praise it enough - the camps (I have now stayed in both) are large, very generously equipped, comfortable and private as well as being amongst pretty woodland with adjacent fields. Beautiful scenery all round. The staff are all fantastic and very friendly which really adds to the experience.
The activities (I have done quad biking, laser clays and paintballing) are all very well organised and once again they are very generous in terms of what they offer. Plenty of time is given to each activity and the quality is great. I especially recommend the quad biking which is so much fun but the paintball arenas were excellent too.
Overall the value is amazing and I cannot recommend enough. Will be back yet again no doubt. Thanks to all the staff for two amazing stays!

Myself, husband and young son (12) booked the quad trekking experience at Oaker Wood last Thursday and have to say a huge thank you to both George and Ben who looked after us so well. Beautiful setting, very well organised and the staff were all so friendly and professional , even the owner took the time to say hello and show us around prior to our session! The whole site is extremely well run and safety conscious and we would definitely recommend a visit no matter what your capability is as you will be well guided throughout. George and Ben make a great team and obviously enjoy working together, they spent time explaining the basics and made sure we were all happy before setting off. It was a real fun session and we will certainly be back to try another activity soon. Thanks again George for being such a fab instructor and to Ben for giving me support and encouragement at the back!

Hi sorry - just seen this question. All our activities are pre booked. We can sometimes fit in small family groups mid week. Or we have a family adventure day this Sunday - £80 for a family of 4 for full day of activities.

Hi - thanks for your enquiry. For most of our activities we do require a min number of 8, although we can sometime accept smaller groups (min 4) mid week, subject to availability. As a family of 3 there are 2 possible options thought - We have a family adventure day on Sunday 13th August - more info see our web site.
Or we have a family woodland Krypton trail open mid week in school holidays which is self guided
