Nestled between Southern California's largest natural lake, Lake Elsinore, the Ortega Mountains and the Cleveland National Forest, and just minutes from Temecula, the Links at Summerly's stunning par-72, nearly 7,000-yard layout was designed by...more
Don't believe the website pictures or description. The only green grass is on the greens, the fairways are bare and muddy, the tees are furry, the lakes are mud and the much vaunted burns are in fact weed infested dry ditches.
Supposed to be improved,...More
Terrible service. Do not ever go there for a wedding. The wedding coordinator Megan lied to us. She promised to set up all the decorations and have plenty of AC in the tent for the event. She didn't do what she promised. The tiny portable...More
This course has made a great effort to repair damage caused by flooding. The greens, teeing areas and fringes are in excellent shape while the rest if the course still needs a lot of work. The fairways are very nice in areas but bare spots...More
We got a good deal from GroupGolf.com and tried out this course. Considering the price, watering issues in SoCal, and the efforts being put forth by the current owners, I went with 4 stars. The greens were in great shape. Fairways had a few bare...More
This golf course, The Links at Summerly is a great visit. You get to experience the lynx style golf of Scotland without the $5000 price tag, airfare etc.

This place is WAY run down, not maintained anything like the pictures they advertise. They could probably blame it on the dry weather and heat except there are some very well maintained courses in the area that are dealing with the same mother nature issues.
Played this course many times over the years, but have never seen it in worse shape. Greens are slow and moist, fairways are horrible. Dry and hard with a lot of dead areas. Took my beginner son, so it wasn't horrible, but if you're looking...More
I'm a little annoyed at myself for not reading these reviews before I played this course again. I played this course about 4 or 5 years ago and it was a decent course. I'm not sure what happened to this course but it is a...More
I have played The Links frequently in past years and usually enjoyed it except when playing in temperatures above 90 degrees. The course never had any shade and did not have enough water available on the course to prevent dehydration.
Unfortunately the course has gone through...More
