Relatively easy to get to from where we are. The mountain is nice with plenty of amenities. Lift tickets are fairly priced.

China Peak keeps providing great family friendly skiing. I have skied CP for over 30 yrs. and the area has grown and continues to provide an unrivaled skiing experience in Central California. Change of ownership has brought many improvements and a re-commitment to family fun.

I bought the snowbomb pass from groupon and was reluctant to drive the 6.5 hour trip to China Peak from Reno but it was well worth it! The drive was beautiful! I used my pass for boarding on Sunday and stayed in their lodge that...More

Love the small, friendly, uncrowded environment. Wish it had more variety in the beginner slopes. The staff at both the ski area and the lodge were friendly and helpful. But the lodging rooms themselves deserve a 1.5-star rating at best. Beds were too soft, the...More
