The winery has good ambiance, however the service wasn’t. They say is outside and took them forever to come back to take our order, same for for the tab. Mind you when you are waiting on 99 degree weather it seems eternal. And just for your FYI they are not doing wine tasting now, you just buy a bottle. I had a much, much better experience just the other day in Vacaville at wooden valley winery.

This is one of Lodi’s many wineries and closest to I 5. If you are looking for a quick break from driving, this is your stop. Also have fresh vegetables for sale and a wonderful farm fresh cafe. Looking for pie - they have it here too, by the slice, whole pie, or take a frozen one to bake later!

Not far off of I-5 on Route 12 is "Phillips Farms" as a part of Michael David's Vineyards. The meals are very good and large. You certainly can share! If you want lunch then go after 1130.

This was our first stop in Lodi. Mainly because their tasting room opened at 10am. They have a restaurant open for breakfast and linch. And a mini grocery. We enjoyed our hostesses Emily and Rosie. We like big t the reds so preferred the Earthquake Zin and Cab. Tastings were $10 with a glass included. No break if you buy a bottle of wine which was okay. The grounds are nice. Tips: Come early before noon, less crowded. Come during week vs on weekend. Maybe try their downtown store cellar door and park in the covered parking lot on Sacramento/ Pine

8 of us went to celebrate our daughters birthday. Food was plentiful. Everyone enjoyed their breakfast except me. I ordered HAM, egg whites, crispy hash browns and sour dough toast. What I received was BACON (half cooked) lukewarm eggs and hash browns. I was the only one who had coffee, and had to ask for a refill. The place was not super busy at 9:30 a.m. and there was plenty of wait staff. Having not received what I ordered and being warm, I decided not to say anything to the group and ate it anyway. I may return sometime in the future, but next time I will complain if order is not right.
