GO FOR THE ART, HOPE THE ICE CREAM IS OK
Mar 2018 • Friends
Combining the sale of ice creams and ices with selling antiques and art is fascinating. The sale of Gunther's ice cream from the famous Gunther's of Sacramento is also fascinating, only every time I got a scoop of something it tasted raunchy, old and yucky. Is it the freezing apparatus? Is the ice cream too old? I liked looking at art on the walls, but nothing I would purchase. Good ideas and bad execution? Definitely will not be buying any more ice cream.

Good stop

Never thought of combining an art gallery with an ice cream shop, but hey.....give it a shot. There wasn't a lot of "art" there to look at or buy but they had plenty of ice cream choices. The ice cream wasn't anything special and cost about $3.50 for a single scoop. Overall it was a nice visit to cap off a brilliant day.

Great Art and Wonderful Ice Cream
Sep 2017
I have a business just around the corner and I only purchase my greeting cards for my clients here. I am also happy to be able to get a treat of nice Ice Cream when I visit the store. There are lots of original art pieces and a very friendly atmosphere to enjoy.

Serving the best Ice cream, and lovely art to look at.

Hubby and I stopped in and enjoyed some yummy ice cream. Whitney, was charming and helped us with our choices. Best Butter Brickle I've had in years. So many delicious options, it was hard to choose.
The art work was interesting, hubby and I got a kick out of chatting with the owner. When I told him that Trip Advisor was how we found them he was thrilled!
Located across from Lodi City Hall and Veterans park which is a lovely place to stop and enjoy your ice cream. Take some time, slow down and enjoy.
Cheers

The Best Ice Cream
Jun 2015
The best ice cream. When our grandson comes to visit we always go there because it's his favorite, and ours too. :)

Interesting art along with the great variety of ice cream flavors. The lack of seating is a drawback

An Art Gallery that Serves Great Ice Cream!
Nov 2014 • Couples
Operated by local artist Tony Segale, Double Dip brings together world-class local and regional art and pairs it up with delicious Gunther's Quality Ice Cream. Nothing better than stopping in for a cone, seeing the art and talking with artists.

Tony has a number of art specializations, but he is one of the master's of gold leaf. His signs are legendary. As for the ice cream, Gunther's ranks right up there. One of the best is Birthday Cake, but Tony also features seasonal favorites. He also carried Butter Brickle. Who carries that anymore? Fantastic.

This has become quite a hangout. It is just off downtown and located across the street from Lodi City Hall. Plenty of on street parking. This is a great place to go after seeing a movie and the kids love it.

The ice cream is not cheap with prices starting around $3.00 for a single dipped cone, but it is well worth it as Tony packs the cone. Also, no diet stuff here. A single dip is probably all you need.

Check it out.
