Beautiful winery

The tasting room and production rooms are beautiful. Enjoy the lovely drive along Santa Rosa Road, and stop to admire. Sanford does charge for tasting.

Even if you aren't a big fan of reds, you will love their Pinot Noirs, some of the best to be found anywhere. From the 90 point Sta. Rita Hills Pinot to the La Rinconada (95 points) and Sanford & Benedict (94 points) you will certainly find one for your taste. Loved the La Entrada Chardonnay as well. A nice... More

The winery is beautiful. The lodge where the tasting room is located is gorgeous. Nice selection of wine. Friendly staff. The view of the vineyards around the property is very pretty and provides a peaceful atmosphere. Eileen gave us a terrific tour. She is a very sweet person and also knows a lot about wine. We had a great time.

Our tour guide was wonderful. The wines were delicious and the views were spectacular. But we were most impressed by our tour guide's knowledge of wines and her efforts to please.

We toured this vineyard with a group and immediately fell in love with the wine tasting room which then opens up to their gorgeous vineyards of Pinot's. although we visited in the winter it was still breathtaking and would recommend their reds any day!!!!

The tasting room is large and the 360 degrees of porches with great views of the vineyards and surrounding mountains make this a great place to taste and just sit and enjoy your wine. We bought several of their quality Pinots to take home with us.

I've always loved this winery, a bit out of the way but well worth it. Their wines may cost a bit more but they never disappoint and the tasting room is cozy and inviting.

Having enjoyed Sanford wines for many years, and being in the area sampling other wineries, we stopped in at Sanford...staff distracted, wines watery without character....really disappointed with the wine quality which was compounded with the $15 flight tasting fee [outrageous]

Very rustic winery. Friendly service. Great Pinot Noir's and Chardonnays. We went here with friends who belong to their wine club. Nice size pours. I would recommend this winery when you do a valley tour.
