In November, the pedestrian bikepath is very quiet and relaxing. Great place for a morning jog and just people watching. I think it`s worth the trip - even my 17 year old daughter enjoyed the walk and looking over the boats.
Loved this path; teenagers, young kids, and parents all enjoyed our 2 hour ride. We rented Surrey's and a double beach cruiser. Great view, great time, and exercise.

This bikepath is directly on the sand and winds for about 4 miles between downtown and belmont shore. it's a great way to explore long beach without leaving the beach! it gets a lot of use, so don't be in too much of a hurry... enjoy the people watching!
The Shoreline pedestrian/bike path comes right off of Shoreline Village and it is just lovely! Its a photographers dream! This is a very pleasant paved path along the beach in Long Beach, with lanes for both pedestrians and wheels, including bikes, inline skates, skateboards, etc. The views are great and include the Queen Mary, the Carnival cruise dock, the oil islands, incoming/outgoing ships, and the Belmont Pier.
