Why not?

Tour of LA will not be complete without going here. There were lots of tourists taking pictures . It was nice that most of them were polite and patient.

Don't expect to much as it is very underwhelming. It is very small and not much to look at. The stars on the side walk are what you look at.

How much fun to try my footprint and handprint with the stars Shirley Temple, Judy Garland, Ginger Rogers and the Lone Ranger & Tigger's horseshoe.

Good screens, great sound, not cheap if you are a tourist and used to $7-$8 tickets, but fun to say you have done it. The seats were clean and comfortable, the screens were good quality, the sound and projection were good as well. About as excited as I can get writing a review on a movie theater! It is a... More

You step back in to an age of Oscars and Limo's, of starlets and stars. An evocative experience as of the Hollywood scene.

The Chinese Theatre is definitely a slice of Hollywood history. We took the 30 minute tour of the theatre. The tour had just the 2 of us and another couple. We were guided by a great host who was very informative and engaging. The interiors are pretty amazing and so is the huge screen and the main screening auditorium. The... More

The theater is very well maintained. It's so nice to look at the floor and see how many Hollywood stars have put their feet and hands there. Loved it

We had the opportunity to visit here as part of a day long tour of LA. It was so exciting to see all the foot and hand prints of famous people. I kept taking pictures of all the stars on the walkway. There were a lot of vendors out trying to sell their wares and that was disruptive. Not sure... More

We saw Star Wars: Rogue One in the big, 3-D IMAX. It was fun for something different. Beautiful inside, but our camera phones didn't make it look very impressive. I think we paid about $20 a ticket. It was a memory for the kids.

If you love the old classics this is so for you! You almost get lost daydreaming Joan Crawford, Betty Davis and Cast of West Side Story putting their hands and feet in cement. Late morning is not too crowded and easier to take photos or compare hands/feet to these iconic stars. For sure a must see especially if you love... More

Staying in Hollywood

Neighbourhood Profile
Hollywood
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
