We spent the day on the VIP tour and had a good time with Jason and Lilet. They were very knowledgeable, friendly and we enjoyed being around them. The lunch which was included with the tour was very good..plenty to eat. Parking was very convenient. For those of you with children under mid-teens this is not the tour for them.... More

This is a fun & informative tour. It takes about two hours and the groups are very small. You hop on & off a buggy and walk around the backlot and sound stages. If you are lucky (as we were today) you might even get to see something being filmed. The guide was really good, professional and entertaining. It is... More

This VIP tour is long and comprehensive and ones that requires extensive walking around the studio. You will get to see many props, tour a few sets and learn many ins and outs of the film business. I would not recommend this tour for smaller children, as there are not many interactive aspects, so they might get a bit bored.... More

Interesting 2-hour guided tour by hop-on, hop-off golf cart, audio narrated by an experienced studio intern/guide. Included unique insights, interesting stories, several inside studios, and the outdoor city sets. Guide was well-informed, pleasant, and answered numerous questions along the way.

I did this tour in the afternoon and ended up being one of only two on the tour. The guide was great and showed us around a number of sites explaining the history of the site and what was currently being filmed. Got to see some current sets and a prop room. Guide was happy to take pictures and you... More

My friend and I were googling things one morning and stumbled on this tour. We had already done universal and Warner bros tour on previous trips and wondered if another tour of these sorts was necessary. We weren't disappointed though. Is is all singing and all dancing like universal? No! But somehow that's part of its charm. It's a lot... More

Walk thru the sets and sound stages where quite literally over a hundred years of film making has taken place. I get the sense that no two tours are quite the same and our tour guide was clearly passionate about movies and television. Lots of great stories, lots of sights, and the opportunity to visit a real set or two.... More

My husband and I have taken a Sony Studio Tour and a Universal Studio Tour but this one was really great. Our tour guide was from Boston and we are from Boston too so that was nice. He was very good. The tours are small with about 7 people per tour and you take a larger golf cart around the... More

Although it is cool and interesting to be there it is expensive and short ($75 usd/1,5 hours), do not expect you will see movies or shows being shot or less to see actors or directors. They take around by a golf ca outside the big studios and just to 1 or 2 of them inside, where there is not much... More

Loved this studio tour which was a combination of riding and walking. Went on a Saturday so we could visit sets which were not in use (i.e.Dr. Phil). Our guide used a tablet to show us scenes from well known movies which matched up with what we were seeing on the lot. Overall very interesting and fun.

Staying in Hollywood

Neighbourhood Profile
Hollywood
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
