If you like Astronomy, you will love this!!! it has the best view of LA plus it has evrything you need to know about Astronomy.

The drive was fun. The view on top is great. Good view of Hollywood sign from far away. Didn't do much in the museum just because we wanted to spend our time elsewhere. My daughter bumped into a movie star petting someones dog.

If you can find parking near the observatory the better. If not you might have a bit of a hike. The result are breathtaking views of LA and the Hollywood sign. Great photo op spot and also check out the Griffith Observatory.

Yes and much more.. I saw families having picnics. Just try to have as mush disposal items so you are not weighed down on your hike

Absolutely and be sure to bring water / beverages. It can be difficult to find places to eat or a water fountain.
