First time hiking and it was great! It was beautiful once you got up there! Our guide was really fun and silly. She gave us some fun facts and history lessons about the Hollywood sign. The hike was a little rough for me who has never hiked before but the view made it so worth it!

We just returned from an afternoon hike with Lindsey and had a great time. We loved the beautiful scenery in the back hills, the interesting information about Mr. Griffin, the Hollywood sign, the Observatory and more. The view of the LA basin was incredible. Lindsey was so.personable and professional. So far, it's been the highlight of our LA weekend.

Our hiking experience with Chase was unique, eye opening, and informative. He was well prepared with information and resources--snacks, drinks, tips, etc. and had the perfect personality for this profession. We were engaged with learning topical and cultural information not easily found online along with the beautiful scenery and geography. We enthusiastically recommend this tour--especially with Chase!

I had never been to LA and only had one extra day for myself. This tour is amazing: you get to see A LOT of the city and doing it through a bike is unique, no sitting in the traffic! Eric and DW were our guides, they both went to great lengths to make sure we were safe, comfortable and... More

My family would like to thank Eric for making a memory we will never forget. The view from the top was fantastic. The stories Eric told about LA, the surrounding areas, and the Griffith family were unforgettable. I love a good mystery and Eric did not let me down. He made plenty of stops to allow everyone to catch their... More

I did the day-long bike tour of Hollywood Hills/Venice Beach on my first full day in LA and it was a great way to explore the city and learn some history, as well as meet some nice folks. The guide Taylor was very professional and knowledgeable. Being from a place where tipping is not customary, I forgot to leave a... More

Thank you for taking us to places we never would have found on our own. The trails and history of Griffith Park will forever be a great family vacation memory along with the fantastic photo opportunities. Our thoughtful tour guide took very good care of us all.

My husband and I just did the LA in a Day bike tour. For the 2 of us, the cost was $324, plus the $24 lunch that wasn't included. I knew it was expensive, but the reviews were all amazing, so I thought it would be worth it. While our guide was knowledgeable and concerned for our safety, the tour... More

Staying in West Hollywood

Neighbourhood Profile
West Hollywood
For years, West Hollywood has been known as a hub for the LGBT communities in Los Angeles. Today it still maintains the title, but has also become the “it” neighborhood for the entertainment industry’s up-and-comers. Producers, directors, writers and aspiring actors call this area home. Known for great boutique shopping, vintage clothing stores, home décor shops and fitness studios, West Hollywood is a grid of wide boulevards and narrow residential streets. The neighborhood also has a concentration of the most avant-garde restaurants in Los Angeles (rivaled only by the burgeoning restaurant scene Downtown). A trip to the iconic Sunset Strip, with its many clubs, music venues, hotels and flashing lights won’t be forgotten.
