Established in 1934, when a dozen local farmers parked their trucks on an open field (once a dairy farm) to sell fresh produce to local residents, the Market has remained true to its roots ever since. With nearly 100 dining, shopping and grocery opportunities, Farmers Market has something for everyone. More than seventy-five years later the Farmers Market remains the one stop shop for every visitor’s needs.

I simply love this place! Taking a stroll among the small shops and savoring some food is amazing. When I first visited the Farmers Market, I thought I'd have never found anything like this in LA. I suggest to go for a walk here on a sunny day, browse around the market and try some foods/drinks. They also organize a... More

Food stalls, eateries, and produce markets greet the visitor who happens to visit the place. The place was set to have been built in the 1930s and was and is still is now, a very popular landmark in LA. There is a street car that connects it to The Grove.

My family traveled here as it was rated high on the things to see and do in LA. We were not impressed. We parked at the Grove and attempted to do a bit of shopping, but the prices for the merchandised were sky high, so we moved on to the Farmers Market. We were very happy with the wide selections... Its a nice place to see, you have the craft shops and crafts in wagons which has a market type vibe and then you have some exclusive shops for some retail therapy. Good place to spend and evening getting dinner and burning some time walking around. This place also has some historical significance.

This is the ultimate destination for tourists and foodies. The versatility of dishes from all parts of the world is available in this one place at reasonable rates. I was deeply satisfied by some tasty fish and chips as well as a couple of local dishes.

Visited here as it was nearby to accomodation. Pleasantly surprised by many food options and fresh produce. Discovered a large shopping precinct out back, so it is a great place for an afternoon of food and shopping.

What good memories and new ones. Such good food! Many different choices. The line at the Brazilian steak stand was too long to wait (people said that they waited 30 minutes to order) but the food poked phenomenal. Wish I had more patience and stamina!

This is one of those places in LA that's worth checking out. The name is pretty much a misnomer. It's pretty much an eclectic mix of food stands that you need to stroll through just to see what's there. I've been there a few times and always find myself at the Pinkberry shop. 😊 To each his own.
