I chose the FD-2 Tour to see the works of Frank Lloyd Wright, Rudolph Schindler and Richard Neutra. Beginning with our first contact Ward evidenced a keen desire and ability to personalize the tour to my specific interests. He enthusiastically planned and perfectly executed a tour that included not only the homes originally listed but a continuing series of “surprises”... More

Ward picked us up at our hotel which is a great convenience in LA. We had an extensive look at the Eames house, where he is a docent ( although we did not go inside the house but you can see most of the interior from the outside). We also learned all about the Case Study houses. There are a... More

Ward was great. Very knowledgable, helpful and solicitous from the moment I reached out. I finally have an understanding of Downtown LA, especially the architecture.

I called up Ward to first ask if he could accommodate a large group of 6 adults and 1 baby. He said absolutely, not a problem! The tour was exceptional and was the highlight of my trip to Los Angeles. We did the Big 3 Tour which consisted of the Lovell House, Hollyhock House and Schindler House as well as... More

We only live 2 hours from Los Angeles but were looking for something special to do in LA for an anniversary trip. Ward customized a tour just for us, taking into account our interests and time constraints. He was extremely professional and informative, telling us about many other places we could visit on our own or with our young children... More

As fans of 20th century architecture, we knew that a tour of such homes in LA was a must. An online search brought us to Entasis. We chose the full day trip which included two homes by FLW, Richard Neutra and Richard Schindler. Ward made the homes come alive as he shared details about the buildings and the architects including... More

Ward was very knowledgable about the buildings, style, architecture, history, etc. He was in constant communication with us before the tour so we knew everything was organized and set up. It was a pleasure spending the 1/2 day on the walking tour. We learned a lot. The pace was good. He even took pictures of our group and sent us... More

We call ourselves 'architectourists' (from Munich Germany) and try to see where ever we are the local Architecture highlights (mainly mid-century modernism). So we found entasis via the web and Ward put together - after some mail-conversation what we were interested in - a full day tour and made the required reservations (Stahl house). We were very impressed by his... More
