This place is great!! You can pick from tons of different restaurants in LA. We had a great grass fed burger at one place, fresh seafood at another. Lots of things to look at, including all the different people. There is also a farmers market and spices and candy plus all those sit down places to taste the flavor of... More

This market has something for everybody. You can take food away, you can sit and eat. There's Mexican, Thai, Chinese, Italian and everything in between. The market is lively and a great spot to people watch. Take advantage of the outdoor seating and enjoy the hustle and bustle.

Although we have lived in LA County for years, somehow we never got to this market before. We took advantage of holiday-light traffic to venture downtown. According to their website, there was a parking garage around the corner that validated parking. However, we wound up parking in the outdoor lot on Broadway just south of the market. That was a... It's almost too hard to choose which place to eat but there are so many good options (even the ones without long lineups). It is quite crowded and it's hard to get seating so just be wary of that. If you have a stroller, make sure it's a small one or just carry the kids - it is hard to... More

This is such a quaint fun indoor market with a variety of food stands. I tried Salvadoran food which was delicious and sampled some amazing ice cream. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend for a casual brunch or lunch.

Grand Central Market maintain the vibrant atmoshere of the good old day market with many new twists in the mix. Although it is called "market", the majority of the stalls are food stands. There are some fresh fruits stands and other market merchandise stands in between food and bars. The place is clean with plenty of lights. A few tapas... More

hands down the best market I have ever ate at int he states. great authentic Mexican food, and many other ethnic foods. a wide varaity just rey and not eat too much at each booth, look for small servings so you can eat your way across or youll have to come back again.

Great food, fresh produce and everything in between. You could easily spend a few hours here and do so numerous times before you get through everything here. Top place

Went for breakfast on a Saturday. Super crazy busy but for good reason. So many awesome places to eat and explore. Love all of the different cultures coming together over food. You will definitely find something you want and like!

This is usually one of our top recommendations for our hungry friends and family visiting LA. We absolutely love the exciting eateries at GCM and most of the time, we get several plates to share. The variety of foods really showcases the diversity of LA. This place is also great to stop by for any meal - breakfast (Wexler's, Eggslut,... More

Downtown Los Angeles is a busy metropolis of towering buildings, bustling streets, and industrial warehouses. There is a distinct multiplicity of cultures here with a growing influx of business professionals and hipsters. Many call the evolution of Downtown over recent years gentrification. New lofts, bars, hotels and restaurants are popping up regularly.
