We were certainly glad we stopped at Blackwells Corner and you will be too. So many local products - we bought almonds, salted and flavored; olives and honey butter maple pecan. Plus fresh made fudge and coffee. The James Dean stuff is interesting but it’s...More

I was looking forward to seeing this place, but on arrival was extremely disappointed. The large cut out of James Dean, complete with bird droppings is about the only reason to stop, unless you require gas. The shop has half filled shelves, with not a...More

Made a quick stop on way to Vegas. This place could surely use more business. Many of the shelves were empty and inventory very low. We did have their special Breakfast Burritos to go and they were excellent and reasonably priced. Will stop again just...More

You should gas up and use the bathrooms in either Paso Robles or Lost Hills, but this is the best place to stop for the locally grown nuts, and fudge made on site.

Although there was much hype about this place,it is basically a fuel stop. It does have toilet facilities, a diner area - which was closed, lots of tacky souvenirs which were expensive, but you can refuel with sodas/sweets if need to.

Likely it was only a corner gas station before James Dean stopped, if in fact he did. It's not much more than that now, other than a reason to draw people in and sell them stuff. Not sure this is worthy of a trip advisor...More

Excellent place to refuel your car and body. If you are detouring from hey 101 to I-5 as we were, save up for this nifty historical fueling station. Currently displaying dust bowl era truck.also last stop for James Dean.

Blackwell's Corner is a gas station, restaurant and store. It was a convenient stop on our way to Monterey. The store and restroom were very clean and organized. In addition to typical connivence store items, they have a large selection of nuts, and a fudge...More

First off, bathrooms are waaaay in the back. This store carries a bunch of odd knick-knacks that you just don't commonly see around southern California. There was a bunch of bikers when I stopped by but overall all its just your average strange gas station...More
