This hike is one of my favourite. I’ve done this one numerous times. It’s short hike (just over 4km loop) into the beautiful alpine. You will get to an elevation just over 2400m. My two year old almost did it by herself, with little help...More

Experienced Ptarmigan Cirque in the fall this time and boy we were not disappointed. I love this hike -- it is shorter hike with ever changing scenery (especially above the tree line). You experience true alpine terrain at its best. This trail is steeper at...More

Great hike for people of all ages. Everyone can go at their own speed. We were there on Monday so a cooler day and no smoke.

This is fantastic introduction to walking in the area, a 5km circular hike passing through pine forest on the way to a beautiful mountain meadow filled with alpine flowers and waterfalls. So much variation in such a short time, no more than 2 hours if...More

This was amazing! We only had time for a quick hike but wanted some beautiful views and this hike met that above and beyond our hopes! I wouldn't recommend the hike for young children or those with heart/breathing issues because it is a bit of...More

This hike was truly amazing. 5km return, approximately 230m elevation gain. It does not take long before you have some amazing views from the trail. We brought our 4 year old with us, and he hike all the way up, and all the way down....More

This is a beautiful hike into the Cirque (bowl) of a mountain. The first part is a little steeper but persevere because it does level out as you walk in the bowl area. The hike loops around inside the bowl so you do spend a...More
