Gorgeous views.

Lots of hiking trails, hills, flowers in spring, occasional ponds, growing back well after the fires 2 years ago, go the top of Mt Mugu and sign the register!

We hiked the scenic and overlook trail starting at the campground. The views of the mountains and the ocean are amazing. The hike takes a couple hours and is around 3 miles in total.

I have been going to this beach since the mid 60s and it is still one of my favorites. Great views. Worth every penny. The drive up PCH is amazing so it a win win outing

Small fee to park. But you get to hike and take in nature at its best. It's not Big sur but its a smaller so Cal version. worth every penny.

The $12 entrance fee is more expensive than I thought considering the size of this beach. It is relatively remote so not as crowded as other popular beaches. Good place for group barbecue with enough parking spaces. You can also play volleyball or soccer on the beach, but make sure to remove all the stones in your field before playing.

We came to the Sycamore Pk (Pt Mugu State Pk) on 28 July intending to hike. At the entrance we were met by a laconic, bored ranger. We asked if their was a map of the trails "No", are the trails very arduous "I don't know". How long are the loops? Is ther a 1- hour loop? " I don't... More

Took the La Juanita loop trail. It is gorgeous and we'll worth the $8 parking fee. Bring your camera and water bottle. I want to go back soon

We stay at the Thornehill broome campsite every year. It's great, campsites are large and open. You have a full view of the ocean and all its wildlife. This trip we have seen humpback whales, dolphins, sea lions and pelicans. Great place to stay for the money. Arrive early for a good spot.

If your driving up the PCH this is a wonderful spot to stop to stretch your legs and take some photos. That's all the time we had, but I'd love to come back to enjoy the hiking and beach.

I really love this place. It provides options of hikes where you can do more if you want and stay flat if you want. Add to that the amazing views from the mountains and the ocean. Breathtaking! There's good /reasonable restroom in the area. If you like to camp there's also a place. There's daily fee to pArk 12usd for... More
