This is an opportunity for some major exercise spiced with lush vegetation, majestic trees in the surrounding hills,a flowing creek hugging the walking path, and the reward for your patience and effort--the waterfall at the end of the trek.Bring a plastic bottle and fill it with...More

Had to pay for parking here. Ranger told us it was a 5 mile hike to the waterfall, but it ended up being closer to 7 miles (used a tracker). The hike was easy and beautiful, with some uphill sections. The waterfall was small but...More

Nice easy walk to a very small waterfall. Easy walking trail that can take you directly up to the falls or branch off for a bit of a mountain hike up and over a bluff to the falls.

This might sound a little off but we were less than impressed. We arrived at high tide and expected something more dramatic. We were more impressed with the general coastline in the area. Good for a geography lesson tho!

A very special state park on the coast. Nice easy trails through Fern Canyon and great views on the bluffs. There is a small beach under the highway as well as group and individual campsites and a picturesque picnic area.

This place is gorgeous. We just spent one night, but I wish we had more time. We had space #15 and it was awesome. Tucked away from the road so there was a lot of privacy. The creek runs right next to the site. There...More

DW and I did the North Trail, Falls Loop, Fern Canyon Trails. Beautiful and tranquil. Saw no one except for last 3.5 miles.

We took the hike to the Devils Punch Bowl out on the headlands up on the cliff and the views were amazing! Next time we hope to hike to the falls.

Moderate hike to a small waterfall - even though it was peak summer season the trail was not crowded. Most of it was through the trees and well shaded.

Yes, some. There was a limited, paved portion of the trail. There is a road that goes through the park where you could definitely use a stroller. Some people carried little children in hiking packs.

Hi Sage..., yes there is a small waterfall up Russian Gulch, at least in the dry summer months, that trickles down a 30' rock face into a "hard to get to pool" at the base. As per Keelia, if you stay to your left you will... More
