New owners of Sunset Magazine moved it across the Bay. Outrageous This was a tradition in Menlo Park for Years and the new owners don't have a clue.

the grounds are awesome, although likely not cared for as much as in its heyday. Very old school and peaceful. The facility has been sold and sunset is moving soon.

Sunset Magazine Celebration Weekend - what a great event! The grounds are beautiful with the blooming trees and plants, plus they were all marked for ease of the guest. It was a great place to see cooking demonstrations, meet Chef's and taste samples of great food. There were vendors offering travel and home and garden items. The Food trucks there were good - especially the Bacon truck, the BBQ truck always had a long line, so we didn't have the opportunity to try that. I think they needed more tables with umbrellas for all the attendees, not near enough. …

This local gem was once a jewel of Menlo Park with the test gardens and yearly Open house. Unfortunately having recently sold out the lovely gardens and test kitchens will be plowed down to make space for housing.

Loved their celebration weekends and sorry they have sold and closing but hopeful they will open up something else that will be just as much adventure to attend as these have been!
