Nothing on the website prepares you for this. It's basically an all-nude retreat. Which is fine. Nothing wrong with that. But the website didn't say as much. No one in the office told ME or MY PARENTS that everyone was nude. The changing area is completely open air. No privacy. Because everyone is nude. Not topless. Not just some people. Everyone. If that's not what you are looking for, this isn't the place for you. We turned around and left without even changing out of our clothes. Why can't they give you some sort of heads up? Out of towner's just think it's going to be a family friendly place to soak :(

It feels very unfortunate that this place that I love suffers from so much anti-mask/anti-vax sentiment. Be prepared to have to ask people in the same tub as you to put on a mask. Management seems to be reluctantly "enforcing" mask-wearing. Still, enforcement is lax, and several employees set a bad example by wear masks below their nose or wearing poorly fitted masks. Cloth masks are now "required" (as opposed to ineffective face shields) but some clients still skirt this rule by wearing cloth masks that are so thin they are transparent. That said, the pools are all in well-ventilated spaces. If you are willing to assertively advocate for your safety you can have an enjoyable visit and avoid spreading COVID in our communities.

This was our first time back at Harbin since the fire. Obviously still a work in progress, e.g. dressing room is just a tent with stools and lockers. But the pools are great, maybe even better than before. We like that the Watsu is going to be in a separate pool of its own. The cold plunges are really frigid, not for the faint of heart. Next time we will try an overnight. Well done so far, Harbin!

My wife and I went here for my 58th birthday and it was very relaxing, I don’t recommend the trailers... I now know how a sardine feels in the can. The hot tubs are great but they need more recliners so bring your own because the go fast. It’s about a 10 minute walk from the rooms/trailers to the pools but I am told that this fall they are building more room just below the pool area. That will be great. The management was very helpful and friendly as was all the staff, the guests were all gracious. We had a great time just relaxing. We just felt cramped in the little trailer because that was the only accommodations they had left.. Last minute trip and all.. 5 stars in my book..
