I have been coming to the Monterey Bay Aquarium for over 30 years now - since I was just a little kid - and it never fails to awe, inspire, and transport you. The exhibits are amazing, with three HUGE tanks and a multitude of...More

This is a top notch aquarium with a very knowledgeable staff. My husband and I spent three hours exploring the aquarium. There is quite an array of sea life to see. The otter feeding was a lot of fun . The jellyfish exhibit is absolutely...More

The most incredible place, loved the jellyfish section. Staff is supernice and engaging, their passion is infectious. Saw a great narrated movie about the migration of whales and felt really entertained by the staff's running commentary. Also very passionate about raising awareness about climate change....More

As aquariums go this is vast and impressive. There are many, many tanks of jelly fish each with a different species. The schools of sardines in the communal fish tanks are fascinating to watch. I hated the dorky ooh-ah music that blasts your ears in...More

The Monterey Bay Aquarium is one of the few places that I support that works with animals and marine life since I've read and seen footage of animal cruelty situations (primarily in zoos and circuses). My most recent trip was while I was exploring SF...More

Wife and adult son accompanied me on this trip. We went on a weekday and so had lots of room - except where the sea otters were being fed. So if you visit, check out the feeding times - these are worth getting a good...More

As nice as this aquarium is, I think I've made my last visit. For my level of interest, $50 is too much. Someone else may see the value but if I'm spending $100 on fish, I want mine grilled. :)

The Monterey Bay Aquarium is a must-see attraction when you visit the Monterey Bay area. If you have kids, they will love it. I recommend going on a weekday, however, so it is less crowded; and be sure to arrive right when they open at...More

We passed one full day watching hundreds of varieties of Fishes and other sea creatures. Very educative and informative display. Live show of SCUBA diver to feed the sea life adds further beauty to the aquarium's attractions.

Favorite parts were the Sea Otters, Kelp forest and the Cannery history. We enjoyed the Luna Otter and White Shark presentations as well. This place is definitely good for families.
