Monterey Bay has something for everyone. We have friends and relatives throughout the region but still seem to find something new to experience. This time we were treated to one of the many fine restaurants. There's much more than the aquarium, Cannery Row, golf, seafood,...More

Monterey Bay, the Seaside to Carmel area, offers excellent ocean and harbor views where land meets ocean in dramatic way. Be prepared for crowds of tourist. If you plan to drive the 17 Mile Drive plan to start early or be bumper to bumper. But,...More

We rode the electric bike on the 17th mile drive. Breathtaking view of the sea. Visit to the Lighthouse added old world charm to the trip. Would recommend taking the bike ride to be close to nature

We checked out different types of seals and tons of birds, enjoyed great views, easy driving and relaxing walks. Lots of interesting places to visit. Monterey was a favourite with Santa Cruz a close second. The boardwalk was a little kitschy but the Wurlitzers and...More

Monteray and surrounding small towns are in a beautiful setting and the bay area is a must see. Whilst the sites have been modernised you can still the feel for the area that John Steinbeck made famous, if you use your imagination

The bridge was awesome! Stop along the way to see the otters near the tourist/shopping area. Stop by the local souvenir shops for a gift to remember your visit.
