Fun for the kids

This is a well designed park for kids and very safe in its functionality. Nonetheless, the kids and the parents both appreciate it, probably for different reasons.

When I have relatives that come to visit, and they have kids under the age of 7, this is a great place to bring them. It is small but lot's to do. It's like a big playground with swings, monkey bars, multiple large slides and lot's of sand. Only problem is they hate to leave.

we've come to this park to Times now and both times were fantastic. The first time our son was one and he had a great time but the next time he was 3 and had a blast. Everyone is so friendly there's plenty I do and areas for picnicking. If you have time get a paddle boat and spend a... More

This is a great park to let your kids explore, have fun and use up excess energy! I give it a 4 (and not a 5) only because it is possible to run into an unsavory person or two... so it's best to keep alert.

This great little gem is temporarily closed for a much needed refurbishment...Check before you go.The old steam engine has become a focus of controversy and it will interesting if the nanny state wins and forever prevents kids from clamboring all over it.

Dennis the Menace Park was one of my favorite parks to go to when I was a child. As a parent I loved taking my children there any chance I had. Take your child to Dennis the Menace Park and let them be a kid... you can too!!!

Dennis the Menace Park is full of a mix of play elements (slides, rock climbing walls, a mini-hedge maze, and suspension bridges) perfect for kids to work out their energy on any sunny (or at least non-rainy) day in Monterey. Conveniently located next to Lake El Estero, with a parking lot and snack bar onsite. Great photo opps, and in... More

A labyrinth type maze, a suspension bridge, a rock wall, a skate park, lots of different slides, suspension bridge, a pond, baseball parks... This is every kid's dream. If you have a toddler this park might be limited for you, but if your child is over four, you will definitely love this. Great way to get out some energy!

This playground was fun all ages of kids. Was clean and appeared pretty well kept. Just be prepared for crowds.
