This is the oldest continued in operation golf course on this side of the Mississippi 1896 you not only play on part of history but don’t let the age fool you , the greens are fairly fast and the fairways are well kept and Solf Staffs are friendly and service are excellent we really love our time here …

Fun golf course for every level. Bar has great sandwiches and outside seating overlooking the golf course. Also is a nice place to meet friends over breakfast or lunch, easy parking.

We play here every time we are in Monterey for business. Well groomed scenic venue with all of the amenities golfers expect. Good food service good pro shop.

This is part of the Pebble Beach resort, and we played it as part of a package of staying at Pebble Beach. The bald fact is that this course is massively sub-par in terms of enjoyment and challenge (and service) relative to the other PB courses. It makes an interesting beginners course, but offers virtually nothing for the more experienced golfer, and for the price there's much more on offer in the area. We noticed some very slow play - five balls and slow four balls - which didn't impact us as we were out early, but it does raise the question of whether this would be fun to play if you got stuck behind a group like that. I'm not sure why PB stick with this, as it is a big let down compared to their other offerings. Overall, it's A basic course with a couple of interesting holes, and not that well maintained.…
