I love this place. The staff is always amazingly friendly and eager to please. We have ordered curbside pickup 5 times since the covid, and have never been disappointed. The meals are prepared at The Grove in Hollister, and presented chilled. All have been good.

We dropped in at the tasting room at Sycamore Creek Vineyards, a Leal enterprise, where we sampled several red wines. The service was friendly and the wines we tasted were quite pleasing. I'd certainly would return to this winery.

They've made many changes to the winery since I was there a few years ago. The venue is beautiful with outdoor seating overlooking the vineyards and lots of indoor seating with tables--and air-conditioning. There is even a little dog area. There was a group celebrating a birthday with cake, food and flowers when we visited. It would be a nice place to bring a group. The wine however doesn't meet the standards of the venue. The rose was very sweet and the chardonnay was lackluster. The red wines were better.

We had our school auction here and it was beautiful! There's plenty of room outside to set up for a silent auction and the dining room is beautiful! The walls are covered with wine barrels and white lights and it looks so pretty! The food was good; we had the artisan pizzas. The only issue is that because the room is so large, the acoustics aren't very good. We had a microphone, but it was very hard to understand what our auctioneer was saying. So, we moved the live auction outside. This worked just fine; in the future, I'd plan on the live auction being outside from the start. The people at Sycamore Creek are great to work with; very helpful - let us set up early. Very special place and it makes for a great event!

First, we love their wine. It's like Leal light! Their wines boast the same hearty flavor, but with a lighter finish. The staff and the atmosphere are both really good. They seem to be sincerely passionate about their work. They only problem is their food. It sucks! We have been for "gourmet" hot dogs and paella and they were both not good. One would think that a vintner that owns restaurants would be able to serve better food at his newly acquired winery. Bring your own food, and you will not be disappointed!
