Saw quite a few shorebirds along the estuary/river side of this beach. There are 2 access roads/parking lots, one on the edge of Moss Landing harbor and the other further south. It is an easy walk to do a loop, one direction along the river...More

Doesn’t get mush better with the dunes, then down to the wide white sandy beach. Families out enjoying the beach, a few surfers, fishermen and porpoises out in the ocean. Pretty Rad! Enjoy.

Took an early morning walk and bike ride through the dunes and absolutely enjoyed the views. There were several surfers catching the perfect early AM wave. The bike / walking trail was well manicured and fun to ride. The harbor nearby was active with fish...More

What a beautiful beach, not crowded.. amazing to get lost and see whales very close! I spend 3 hours there, it is super clean as well.

This is fairly close to Moss Landing State Beach. Hence, the views are similar, but from this beach - the viewing of pelicans is probably better. There is breeding colony of pelicans nearby - so point your eyes at the sky. You won't be disappointed

The small parking lot (with out house) has a peaceful view of the estuary with lots of birds. A very short walk over the dune reveals the windy side with loud waves created by the ocean. The beach had no shells.

This beach is beautiful with crashing waves on gorgeous sand. There is a free car park which you can use if going on tours from the harbour.
