This place is an absolute must! Bring your glass jugs and containers and collect the best water you will ever taste from the headwaters within this park.

I went here last June 2015, on a suggestion of a friend and this is the 1st place I've gone to get drinking water, where I felt IMMEDIATELY "fed" by drinking water! From that moment, I ONLY went there to refill my water bottles; I...More

I love this park. There is a big spring that dumps into a big pond, with a trail beside it. Also a very large grassy area. It is surrounded by trees with an easy trail through them.

Beautiful park. Great playground for children. A little too much pot smoking for our tastes...no rules about that, but lots of rules about where you can step!

We returned to take a short walk to see the headwaters of the Sacramento River. This is a nice city park with trees, picnic areas, play areas, and more. It is free to visit.

It's accessible. There are gentle slopes that may require muscle with a wheel chair but not bad. You will have to have someone else get the water from the source but you will be able to view it easily.
