A long bike trail with a good view, because the trail is higher than the surroundings. Extend all the way to the bay.

This is a great trail to get you to and from Mountain View without dealing with roadways. It meanders along the creek - and is shaded. However, the parts I really despise are all the cyclists riding at 110mph shouting "ON YOUR LEFT" to let...More

Out hotel was only about a block away from an entrance to an entrance to the Stevens Creek Trail, so we enjoyed getting away from the traffic into the trail in the woods. This is quite a little oasis in a metropolitan area, not to...More

One of the best trails around in the peninsular bay area. I've used it many times in the past for running and cycling. I can never get bored out of it!

The trail has many places to enter. You can see a map of Stevens Creek Trail on the biking map. I live off of Middlefiled Rd and there is an opening. You could park at Whisman Park and enter there and go toward Shoreline or... More

I really would not recommend letting your children run on this path. There's a lot of running and cycling traffic which may not be safe for them. On the other hand, there are plenty of parks that are adjacent to the path... More
