Hate the traffic & parking in San Fran, so theater anywhere else is what I want. It was easy to find, easy to park, easy to find a seat. The play was pretty bleh, but the staff was very pleasant and the refreshments were as expected: coffee, beer, wine. Theater was intimate. Will go again, hopefully to a better performance.

This was my first visit to Pear Theatre and look forward to returning for other performances. I enjoyed The Next Room and felt the cast did amazing and engaging. I loved the intimacy of stage and seating. Fun experience..👍

We have been subscribers to the Pear Ave Theatre for many years, it is a 40 seat theater in the middle of Silicon Valley. The productions are of very high quality featuring very talented actors. If you are in town during one of their runs definitely check it out. Tickets range from $10-$30, incredible value and a unique experience. It is located in an industrial area at the end of Pear Ave just off of Shoreline Blvd (plenty of free parking) For upcoming shows www.thepear.org

We’re so pleased you’ve been a long-time supporter of the Pear! We hope you’ve been to the theatre since our move from Pear Ave — our new location on La Avenida holds up to 90 patrons, but still provides plenty of free parking and an intimate theatre experience!

Cool theatre in the most random of places. They do adventures performances, like the diptych House & Garden, and Metamorphoses which takes place in a pool of water. The quality of the acting is great, and it has all the charms of local Silicon Valley theatre (much like the Bus Barn Stage Co.), selling a few snacks at intermission on a pay-what-you-can sort of basis, and allowing the audience to mingle outside. I love them for finding creative solutions to challenges that might initially seem to be larger than the theatre itself! Super convenient to DTMV as well... I'll have to keep an eye on their coming seasons, since we enjoyed our last show there so much!

It is a bit hard to find, even though the street name is in the title of the venue... Just when you think there's nothing else to find, after all the construction you've driven/biked past, it's at the end of an alley on your left.
