Too crowded! Not enough beach for lots of dogs and children to play. Drove a couple of hours to see the beach, prefer further up HWY 1, past Jenner. Okay for families that live in that general area or close vicinity.

A short walk from the parking lot over a wooden bridge and trail leads you to this beautiful and pristine beach. Spectacular views and just a nice quiet place to sit and here the ocean waves.

You‘ll have some beautiful views. To get to the beach it‘s a drive from San Fran but definitely worth it. Gorgeous country side. Bring some snacks and make it a beach picknick!

Very pretty beach but it is isolated and windy. Rocky beach. A nice short walk but not necessarily an all day thing. We hiked Muir Woods first then came here.

We stopped by Muir Beach after a nice trip to Muir Woods and Sausalito. It was cold, windy but beautiful. Wasn't too crowded especially for a Friday. Small and very pretty. Love this beach. Dog friendly. Will be back!

For the beach you just go. For the National Park/redwoods you must reserve parking ahead of time. It’s only $8.00.
