This is where locals gather for family or group events. The park sits right on on Murphys Creek, so there's plenty of fun for the youngsters.. On summer weekends there's usually some kind of celebration or music performance. The historical bandstand is a real treat.

A store owner steered us to this little gem of a park. Picnic tables by the river/stream make it a wonderful spot to take a break with a book or a snack that you have picked up downtown

We visit this area all the time but had never ventured off of the main street in Marches down to the creek. Nice gazebos, picnic table and shade along the creek. Only 50 yards from downtown. GO.
