This really is worth the money. The scenery, the beautifully restored pullman train cars, the friendly, efficient staff AND the most excellent gourmet meal! Really, the food is first rate! They've been in business 25 years, and they know what they are doing!

The scenery is gorgeous, the restored pullman cars beautiful (you can walk through each one) and the lunch was absolutely excellent! Worth the cost. They've been in business 25 years and they know what they are doing. Great, friendly young staff too.

It was a great experience since you enter in the website to select what best suit your needs through the end of the tour. We choose the Amorosa Castel train including a lunch in the train. The reception in the train station was great, no lines, very well organized and the service reps well educated, clarifying you all the questions... More

Reception area had free coffee and tea, with wine by the glass purchase. Boarding train was orderly and quick. Nice because it was raining. Complimentary glass of red or white wine once on board with large appetizer board of fresh fruit, nuts, 3 different cheeses and salami. The beautiful scenery thru Napa Valley, the wonderful lunch with outstanding food, wine... More

Truly awesome experience. The food and service are five star and the views of the Napa Valley while you eat are amazing. If you are not from Napa, i definitely recommend taking time to walk around and see downtown napa while you wait for the train, if you have time.

My daughters and I took the three hour ride in the dome car on the wine train. It is wonderful. The food was first rate and the wine was, also, of course. Great service and a nice way to see a lot of the wine country while comfortably seated in an antique train car with thoughtful service and the gave... More

Took the Vista Dome for 3-hour tour and Lunch. The food was beyond exceptional and service was excellent. Comfortable seating for two and a very relaxing way to spend the afternoon traveling from Napa to St Helena and back. Note that the train does not turn around, but reverses when it gets to the end. So, your best seating would... More

If you long to taste a bit of travel that is reminiscent of the luxury trains of the past this is it. We booked the Quattro Train, which means you get to visit 4 wineries and enjoy a private tasting and tour. This is not only wonderful that you are not drinking and driving, but you also get to enjoy... More

My partner and I booked the Quattro Vino and we had the best time. Let's be real, it's a super touristy concept but most 'wine tours' are in a van or car. This was in a beautifully maintained old rail car. The scenery from the train was perfect, as you rolled through the valley. The experience at some of the... More

In the scheme of train rides around the world, not the most romantic with the best scenery but still fun nevertheless. Kind of expensive 3+ hours to drink wine, but I guess it is worth it especially when we pass by cars struggling to drive on the crowded roads, or be reminded of not driving under the influence when one...
