We are by appointment only. Please go to our website to inquire about our experiences. We do not take phone reservations. The cost is $55.00 per person. We regretfully are not permitted to have anyone under 21 years of age nor allow any pets on the premises. Our award winning wines come from our 40 acres in the Oak Knoll District of Napa Valley. From grape growing to bottling, the entire winemaking process is managed at the estate. The vineyards are planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon Blanc. Our wines are sought after by collectors and have received many awards, including a recent 98 point score for our 2013 Unrestrained Reserve Bordeaux Blend.

We enjoyed all of our tastings in Napa but this was the most intimate and fun tasting we had by far. We sat in the backyard and just had wonderful conversations with Luis while drinking beautiful reds and whites. Could not recommend enough! This is...More

We enjoyed starting our day with Jason at O'Brien. Our innkeeper suggested we visit and taste their red blends. So glad we did as we are now Wine Club members! Cheers!

In February, my sister and I planned a Girls Birthday Trip to Celebrate my daughter and my daughter-in-law’s Special Birthdays. When choosing the vineyard's we wanted to visit, O'Brien's was #1 on my list. I have LOVED O'Brien's "Seduction" since my first sip. Knowing how...More

What started as a 90 minute tour turned into a 3 hour visit, and we loved every second of it. The tasting, while pricier than those in Yountville, was far far better than anything else we did in Napa. The tour is a private experience...More

We visited O'Brien in January 2009. This was our first trip back and it was an equally enjoyable tasting. You won't get WOW'd by a fancy tasting room or beautiful amenities center. The story has been consistent -- it's about what's in the bottle and...More

We just returned from our second trip to Napa Valley in less than a year. I researched the vineyards and wineries in the area and came across O'Brien Estate. The reviews were so good that I just knew we had to try it out. Boy...More

We are staying in Yountville in May. Do we need to book tastings in the town or do we just walk in? Also should we book winery tours outside of the town.

Most of the smaller wineries require reservations, I would call or email the ones you want to go to, so you aren't turned away. OBrien and Venge require reservations, groups of four or less may be able to just walk in for a... More

Best to reserve tastings well in advance at O'Brien's, small and intimate, as opposed to Castelo. Do it on line or by phone in advance. O'Brien's is very close to Yountville, but you will need to drive.

Hello ! I am visiting San Francisco from Sydney in October 2016 with a friend, we are both Vegan and would absolutely love to plan a day trip to the Napa and Sonoma Wine Regions to visit Vegan wineries =) I loved reading your review of O'Brien Estate Winery ! Could you please send me any information about this winery and other Vegan wineries to visit in the region, and ideas for transport, as it will be just the two of us and we have never visited the area before. Any information will be greatly appreciated! Thank you, and enjoy your week =) Kate
