Since 1922 the Bartolucci Family has consistently created a perfect marriage of grapes and wine at Madonna Estate. Located in the world-renowned Carneros region, an area known for its fertile lands and cool climate, the Bartolucci family has found success with their organically grown grapes and Estate Bottled wines. In addition to practicing natural farming methods, they also combine traditional and modern winemaking techniques. As the third oldest winemaking family in the Napa Valley, it is important to them that they continue the commitment to farm naturally and preserve the winemaking traditions of past generations.

Wine tour

Good wine, felt the tour was short and majority of tasting took place in their retail area. Felt like we it was a lengthy sales pitch. The Chardonnay was great! Short and sweet.

this winery is alittle different from domaine carneros. but i really liked it. its smaller, but its nice if you're not into big wineries. its alittle more personable. theres not a big patio outside to sit and drink wine, but the building is nice to walk around. there are some items you can purchase here also besides just wine. we... Madonna was a stop on a day tour of Sonoma and Napa. We were taken to the barrel room for a short informational talk. We sipped Chardonnay during the talk . It was excellent. Then we moved into their tasting room for five more wines. All were of high quality. Since we were on a tour, I don't know the... More

My husband and I took a tour to Napa and Sonoma Valley for our wedding anniversary. The bus took us to Madonna Estate as our first winery. We loved the presentation, introduction of their wines. Had a great time.

This winery has fantastic employees. They were happy to see us and we're very informative. Was with a tour and wished we could have spent more time. One lady has an epic laugh. It could get contagious.

Went on a three-wineries tour and ended up at Madonna Estate which gave a thorough introduction of all their wives, the prices, and the art of tasting wine without making it all pretentious.

We got to see the barrel room and they told us about their winemaking process and how they're different than other wineries. They were very friendly and nice especially considering some of our group was a little rowdy. They then let us taste almost every wine they made. You can purchase and they will ship and if you buy more... More

This was the second Winery I visited in Sonama and the experience at Madonna estate was a different level all together. If the first winery taught us the Wine making process, the folks at Madonna estate taught us to enjoy the wine the right way. A big learning experience!! Loved the demo on Cork Extractor which I ended up buying.... More

We were ignored. No one greeted us when we came in, and when we went in the tasting room, the man at the bar kept his back turned to us for several minutes, so we looked around at the merchandise, and he finally turned around, but never spoke to us until I said Hello to him. He barely acknowledged us... More
