As an affiliated winery with Trinchero, we stopped by just to sample and walked out convinced. The reds are excellent, but the hospitality of the staff was superb. Rene took time to explain the vision of the winery, and the various wines. We compared the chardonneys (unoaked was better in our palate). and worked our way from Malbec to Meritage, to the better Cabernat Sauvignon and Reserve Cab. We bought bottles of the cab and the Zinfandel. We ended up sitting outside and enjoying the late afternoon with a cheese plate and a great wine, friendly conversations with the staff as they came by, and the open setting to walk around. They were more than tolerant of children and pets. Clearly, this is THE place to visit because staff from other wineries showed up as they left work.…

Last stop in a day of Napa wine tasting. This was the best. Wine is great. Pourer Debbie is the best. Informative, fun, helpful. 10 years at the winery. Absolutely the best pourer of all tasting rooms that I have EVER experienced. Everybody needs to ask for Debbie.

With family visiting from St. Louis, another opportunity to go wine tasting in the Napa Valley presents itself. We are always looking for a good bottle (or 12) of wine, we also seek out unique or fun wineries to visit, over the years we have found both. One is never guaranteed either. If you are looking for good wines and and amazing experience, stop into Napa Cellars and ask for Darlene Olejniczak. Twice in the last couple of years we have stopped in and both times have been fortunate enough to conduct our tastings with Darlene. She is a wealth of wine knowledge and will take her time to share her knowledge and experiences with her guests. Over the years of wine tasting in the Napa, Sonoma and other wine regions of California we have yet to come across another hostess that comes even close to Darlene. If you can only visit one winery, make Napa Cellars your stop and ask for Darlene.…

So few wineries in Napa valley still accept walk ins. Napa Cellars is not one of them! My wife and I enjoyed being greeted at the door and ushered into the tasting area where we met our hostess, Darlene. Darlene was very personable and knowledgeable. She reminded us of things that we had forgotten. That wine tasting involves all the senses! Pushed the Wine Club a little too hard for our tastes, but overall a good tasting experience and we'd highly recommend it for first timers.…

This was our last stop on a long day of wine tasting. The lady behind the counter, you could tell, just loved wine and loved her job. The property is where you want to take photos, have lunch under the shade by the vineyards, or just relax in their open air garden with a glass of wine.…
