Balboa Village is darling

Go to the Balboa Village when you go to the Balboa Beach areas. Such beautiful walks and things to see and do. I love the beach, and the little village is amazing.

Nice village. Good restaurants in the main streets. Several fun activities. Nearby nice beach. During evening very pictoresque.

Part of a day tour i took involved some time to explore this cute little waterside area. I could imagine this area would be very busy with families with children on weekends, it has the kiddie rides & fun-zones that would keep kids happy. But it also has some nice looking restaurants & i really enjoyed wondering along past the... More

We actually stayed on Balboa Island but toured the entire area. As kids, this was our hangout. As a high school student, this was the perfect place to go to when ditching school! I enjoyed looking at all the boats. The better half enjoyed the shopping.

Great little summer town to walk around. Fun Zone with arcade and restaurants is located here. This is also a popular spot for vacation rentals.

Don't just drive around. Park your car, get a frozen banana, do some shopping and walk along the beachfront

The FUN ZONE has been on the Balboa Peninsula for almost 100 years. It is a finger of land between the Pacific Ocean and Newport Harbor. One of the best places to see, if you are going to be visiting the Newport and/or Balboa areas.

I've been visiting Balboa Island since I was a little girl (40 something years) and it always brings back great memories. I take my kids there now. We hunt for a parking place (there are more spots the earlier in the day you go). We walk down and check out the shops, buy a t-shirt, sometimes we eat lunch there... More

This is a lovely village situated very close to the ferry. A lot of independent shops and eateries - a refreshing change from the Malls. Great to meander on a summers day.
