Whale or bust!

Had a great idea to go whale watching. Went out on their new boat only to clear the bay and turn around due to engine problems. Once back at the dock they offered a refund to... read more

We seen a whale. He was a 15 foot juvenile humpback. He was kind enough to show us his fluke. We also seen over 1000 dolphins.

A most excellent day trip and well worth every penny! My daughters and I were staying in Beverly Hills but wanted to see as many places as we could in 2 weeks and this trip was fantastic. The guides on the boat were friendly and knowledgable and we saw 2 magnificent blue whales along with 100's of dolphins! It wax... More

Had a great idea to go whale watching. Went out on their new boat only to clear the bay and turn around due to engine problems. Once back at the dock they offered a refund to those who wanted one or for those still wanting to go out, they put us on their older boat. Went out, didn't see any... More

Cool experience! Will definitely do it again. Of course it depends on the weather and the whales if they are in the area or not. We had one humback whale staying close to boat for maybe 10 mins, it was really impressive. We saw some seals also on our way back. The view and fresh air are great too!

If you get motion sickness, do not go on this boat without first taking medicine!! Many people threw up in the rough ocean waves! Thankfully, I get sick for everything, so my whole family had taken meds first. We sat inside the cabin and still had to hold on to stay seated! They serve burgers and drinks inside too, cash... We visited last Sunday and although we arrived well in advance of the recommended 1 hour ahead, it was a warm sunny Sunday and the beach area was very crowded. We don't come from the area and found it hard to park - almost giving up at one stage. All the parking lots were full (even the valet parking) and... More

Hubby bought tickets via Groupon for 4th of July weekend. Bad idea!... took us an hour from the bridge to the island. Missed our trip,,, but they were nice enough to include us on the next one. We rode on the second floor of the boat - got a wonderful view! The captain and crew was very patient and persistent... More

We had a large group and used a Groupon discount. The tour was great, Captain and crew did a great job locating 2 Blue whales and numerous dolphin. Weather was beautiful and seas fairly calm. The boat was pretty full but we still had the opportunity to view the whales several times as the Captain positioned the boat accordingly.

We found this company on Groupon during our visit to Southern California. Our whale watching trip was the last one of the day, just before sunset and it was magnificent. We saw whales, dolphins, and seals. We had a marvelous captain who really seemed to enjoy his job. We were out for 2.5 hours but it seemed to fly by.... More

I had a horrible experience with this company. In fact, we never even got to go on the trip. I made reservations for their 6 PM trip (last one of the day) for my wedding anniversary. We do not live locally, but thought it would be worth a rather extended drive for such a unique experience. I booked through their... More
