These sand dunes are way prettier than the White Sands National Monument in New Mexico. Even though it was an especially windy day, folks were really enjoying 4-wheeling around on the miles of pristine dunes, and they go on for miles. Just beautiful!

There is a Ranger station off of Gecko Rd with parking and pit toilets. Unless you're spending the night camping you'll need a pass. There at the Ranger station they have maps of the area too. One of the most spectacular... More

Best time to visit the Dunes is Nov to Feb considering the weather and the activities there.
