The Sound Room is the most friendly, small jazz club in Oakland. They have great acts -my favorite is Kenny Washington. The food is good and the drinks are great! Their service is warm and friendly. Try it and you’ll love it!

This is my favorite place to go our for a night of great music and light fare. They get the best in local jazz talent, run a great non-profit, and even prepare the small plates and serve nice house wine. Great vibes!
